The first step: worst-case scenario.

worst-case scenario.

Let me give you some perspective

All my friends have now gone to university or have a steady job

Me?

I have just started a business full-time

Especially in Finland my route is kind of frowned upon

You are supposed to go to school and study for 3-5 years and go on with your life

Now I have absolutely nothing against that

But for me, I had an idea

I had the youthful motivation and delusion to think it could work

So, for me, it was a no-brainer

I still often think that maybe I should’ve taken the safer route

Gone to school

Gotten a job

Now if I choose to do so I’m left behind

But… am I?

If all goes to shit, my business fails

And in 6 months I realize it’s not going to work

Then I like to think to myself.

What’s the worst-case scenario?

You know what it is?

I go to school or get a job

My whole perspective changed when I realized this

My WORST-case scenario is everyone else’s normal

The only difference is, I dared to dream and try

Because who knows maybe I will go and study someday

and live the same life as those beside me

but the difference is I won’t have the regret of not trying

So, I encourage you to dream and to try

Because you…

Have nothing to lose

Until next time, Michael.
